Maker Skills Half-Day Camp: June 24-28th
June 24 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
This half-day camp for rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders runs for a week long at Brinn Labs and covers all kinds of Maker Skills.
We are offering this week-long camp four times throughout Summer 2019:
June 17-21st or June 24-28th
1pm Check-In Parents must be present when student checks-in for the camp.
July 22-26th or August 5-9th
8am Check-In Parents must be present when student checks-in for the camp.
Each day we will be exploring different maker skills with an emphasis on technology (i.e. coding, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and digital fabrication). Students will be learning from our expert Exhibit Designers and Fabricators about industry and career applications and the equipment or tools they use.
Concepts and lessons will include topics such as design thinking group challenges, coding, Arduino microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, open-source technology, tools and resources.
Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

Materials and Tools
For the class we will supply you with the materials needed. All you need to bring is your imagination!
Please be respectful of the short time you and the other participants have to learn, and arrive at least 5 minutes before class so we can start on time.
Cancellation of Class
If minimum number is not met in class enrollment, the instructor may opt to cancel class. In the event of a cancellation you will be offered a spot in a future class. We will attempt to give as much notice as possible in the case of a cancellation.
There is free parking available in the parking lot on the corner of Stewart St. and Allis St.
