Maker Faire Milwaukee

Maker Faire Milwaukee | September 13-15 | Wisconsin Center

Please save the date!  We are thrilled about our new downtown location, and welcome Presenting Sponsor, the Wisconsin Center District, to Milwaukee’s growing maker community!

If you want to get a little taste of the Faire, we made the top ten in Maker Media’s “Best of 2018” Faire videos, so check it out and take a look at videos from Faires happening around the globe, too. A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes.

Maker Faires showcase the synergy of 21st Century technology and science with culture, craftsmanship and the arts, and celebrate innovation, creativity and the DIY spirit. The Faire is THE place to connect with students, young talents and skilled makers interested in high-tech businesses, arts and design groups, higher education and start ups.

The Maker Movement is changing education, workforce training and economic opportunity in cities just like ours.  If you want to be part of Milwaukee’s growing maker community, talk with us about becoming a Faire sponsor or exhibitor. Visit to find out more, and if you want to keep up-to-date, join our mailing list.

Maker Faire Milwaukee is locally organized and co-hosted by Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and Milwaukee Makerspace, in collaboration with MAKE: Magazine.
